Formed in Stockholm, Sweden in 1972 by Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad the all time classic band ABBA was born. Rising to fame just 2 years later after winning the Eurovision song contest in Brighton with their breakthrough hit “Waterloo”.

Between 1974 and 1982, 20 of ABBA’s hits featured in the top 100’s with 4 being among the top 10’s and 14 in the top 40’s. But topping the charts was their smash hit Dancing Queen which sky rocketed to number 1 in 1977.
